This UK exclusive brings a taste of the Caribbean to Speyside. The Rhum Agricole Cask Finish is a unique expression of Glen Moray, which is finished in cane rum barrels from Martinique. The rum and Whisky flavours unite to create a stunning spirit with notes of rich dark toffee and spice.

Tasting Notes

Nose

Marzipan, apricot jam, pear drops and pineapple mingle in a bright confectionary bouquet, a tropical-fruited invitation on the nose.

Palate

Full-bodied and satisfying. Treacle toffee merges with kirsch cherries and spicy gingerbread.

Finish

Smooth and long. The spice intensifies then fades, leaving a rum and raisin finish.

(Glen-MOR-ay) Glen Moray was founded in 1897 in Elgin, when the old Elgin West Brewery was converted into a distillery, with the first spirit running on 13 September that year. After a short silent period during the First World War, production resumed and the distillery was later acquired by Macdonald & Muir, before passing to La Martiniquaise in 2008.
