Tasting Notes
Colour
Golden amber with a warm, honeyed glow and coppery edges, inviting and luminous.
Nose
Dark cherry, fig and raisin lead the nose, opening to walnut and almond with cocoa and toffee. Vanilla and oak resin weave warmth through the aroma, while a hint of nutmeg and clove threads a quiet spice through the sherried fruit.
Palate
Bold and lush on the palate, it offers deep toasted oak and vanilla, with dried fig and raisin. Cocoa nib, orange zest and gentle spice mingle, while the 53.3% ABV coats the tongue and prolongs a caramel-wood finish.
Finish
Long, warming finish with bold oak spice—vanilla, cinnamon and a touch of clove—carried by dried fruit and caramel. The 53.3% ABV sustains a resinous, lingering warmth that fades to a refined whisper of oak and dark chocolate, leaving a polished, satisfied glow on the palate.
