Glasgow 1770 Peated Cask Strength Batch #3 Single Malt Scotch Whisky
In stock
This peated cask strength release from Glasgow 1770 was matured in virgin American white oak before a finishing period in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. Bottled at 61% ABV, with 1,000 bottles released, it brings together the distillery’s smoky style with a richer layer of dark fruit and sherried depth.
The cask combination works particularly well here. The virgin oak gives the whisky structure and intensity, while the PX finish adds sweetness, darker fruit and a more indulgent edge to the smoke. The result is a bold, full-bodied whisky, where barbecue smoke, tobacco, plum and dark chocolate all sit comfortably together.
