Dalmore Shepherd Neame 300th Anniversary Single Cask Whisky 30 Year Old · 1966 Vintage
Out of stock
A real rarity of a Dalmore this one. Distilled back in 1966, in the early days of the Whyte and Mackay ownership. This was bottled in the mid 1990's as a 30 Year Old to celebrate the 300th anniversary of Shepherd Neame, Britian's oldest Brewer.
This is a Single Cask Dalmore, one of only 300 bottles produced and bottled at a natural cask strength of 50% ABV.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with coppery highlights and a mahogany edge.
Nose
Opulent, patient aroma of orange zest and sun-warmed prune, laced with dried fig and dark chocolate. Rich sherry depth unfurls through spice-kissed oak, vanilla custard and a whisper of leather, all carried on velvety malt sweetness with a hint of tobacco.
Palate
Powerful yet elegant, the palate unfolds with dried fig, candied orange, and dark chocolate, carried by silky toffee and polished oak. Ginger and clove spice weave through the sweetness, a touch of leather lending depth. Rich and long on the finish, with warm sherried notes lingering beside cocoa and orange zest.
Finish
Long, luxurious finish of sherry-driven richness—figs and orange peel entwined with cocoa and spice. The warmth lingers in velvet leather and toasted oak, slowly fading into a refined, persistent sweetness that leaves a final whisper of coffee and dark fruit.
