Dalmore The Quintet Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Dalmore's Quintet, originally released for the Travel Retail market, is a unique single malt finished in five distinct cask types: Muscatel, Malmsey Madeira, 30-year-old Matusalem sherry, 10-year-old Port, and Bordeaux Cabernet Sauvignon casks.

The result is a rich and complex whisky. It opens with aromas of dried pineapple, floral honey, stewed plums, and strawberries, with a hint of baked earth. The palate is a mix of red apples, chocolate, mint, cinnamon, toffee, and old oak. The finish is long and intriguing, with lingering notes of cigar box and espresso.
