A limited edition Highland single malt from The Dalmore’s Vintage Collection, this 2005 vintage was matured predominantly in American white oak ex-bourbon casks before finishing in hand-selected Matusalem and 2005 sherry casks, then bottled at 49.3% ABV in 2023. Only one Vintage expression is released each year, chosen to reflect the character of that particular harvest and cask selection.

Colour
Deep amber with burnished copper highlights and a touch of mahogany, a warm honey-gold glow.
Nose
Dark chocolate and salted caramel intertwine with antique leather, crowned by rich orange fruits; a warm, vintage aroma with depth and refined opulence.
Palate
Rich cacao coats the palate with dark fruit depth, brightened by blood orange. Marzipan sweetness weaves through the fruit, while moist ginger cake adds a warm, nuanced spice that lingers.
Finish
An enduring finish of Madagascan vanilla and Seville orange, punctuated by rich nuttiness, fading into a long, dry chocolate complexity.
