The 2021 Release from the distillery has been patiently aged for thirty years in American oak before a final finish in Tawny Port Pipes. Thanks to the Port finish, decadent aromas of sweet bread and candied fruit come to the fore, followed by notes akin to high tea. The sweetness continues on the palate, notes of vanilla imparted by the American oak initially, followed by frangipane and a hint plum jam.
