Tasting Notes
Colour
Amber-gold with a warm, honeyed glow and a coppery shimmer, deepening to mahogany at the rim.
Nose
Aroma rich with sherry influence: dark raisins, fig and orange peel mingle with plum and apricot; whispers of toasted almond, toffee and cocoa. Spices—cinnamon and clove—lace with leather and polished oak, delivering antique, library-aged sweetness that beckons slow, contemplative sipping.
Palate
On the palate it is soft and elegant, offering dried fruits—fig, date, plum—rich sherry sweetness with a touch of orange zest. Nutty almond and walnut mingle with milk chocolate and toffee, while cinnamon and nutmeg lift the finish over polished oak. Silky, medium-bodied, with a long, refined finish of dried fruit, spice, and a whisper of leather.
Finish
Long, refined finish with luscious sherry sweetness: dark dried fruit, cocoa and brown sugar give way to toasted almond and warm spice, leaving a silky oak glow that lingers with dignified patience.
