Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep copper-amber with radiant golden highlights and a tawny, sherry-tinged edge.
Nose
Ripe dried fig and raisin mingle with indulgent toffee and cocoa, woven with vanilla and polished oak. A delicate sherry lift brings leather and orange zest, while spice threads through the frame, yielding a refined, age‑worthy bouquet.
Palate
Silky and opulent on the palate, this 25-year-old unfolds with sherry-laden richness and refined oak. Raisin, fig and cocoa mingle with creamy vanilla and measured spice, a hint of orange zest brightening the mid-palate. Plush texture, gentle tannin, and a long, elegant finish with toasted almond, tobacco, and lingering oak warmth.
Finish
Long, luxurious finish of sherry-soaked raisins and figs, anchored by dark chocolate and orange zest. Velvety oak threads through a warm, persistent spice, with the sweetness gradually giving way to refined dryness and a final, elegant resonance.
