Craigellachie 13 Year Old evokes Bonfire Night: aromas of oozing toasted marshmallows, fire-roasted pineapples and baked apples studded with cloves, with the tang of cordite lingering in the background.
Initially matured in a mixture of ex-Bourbon and ex-Sherry casks. 50% of the 'blend' is then finished in first-fill Sherry casks, the rest in first-fill Bourbon.

First-fill Sherry brings dark fruit, cocoa and velvety oak, while Bourbon keeps the balance bright. A delicate cordite-like smokiness lingers, leading to a long, plush, spice-kissed finish.

Long, ember-bright finish that lingers with muted sweetness and spice. Toasted marshmallow sweetness gives way to dried fruit and cocoa, threaded with warmth from first-fill Sherry and Bourbon casks. A subtle cordite-tinted smokiness fades into soft oak and tangy spice, leaving a lingering, comforting warmth.
