Craigellachie 'Golden Brown' Single Malt Scotch Whisky (The Stranglers) 14 Year Old
In stock
Craigellachie 14 Year Old Golden Brown is a single malt Scotch whisky bottled by Caskade Drinks, inspired by The Stranglers’ 1982 classic of the same name. Distilled at Craigellachie in the heart of Speyside and matured for 14 years in sherry casks, it takes the distillery’s naturally weighty style and gives it an extra layer of richness, spice and depth.
The sherry cask maturation suits Craigellachie particularly well, bringing a darker, more robust profile while still leaving room for the distillery’s character to come through. Notes of coffee, almond and raisin lead on the nose, followed by burnt toffee, dried orange peel and ginger on the palate, before a long, lingering finish that gives the whisky plenty of presence.
