Craigellachie Wemyss Malts - The Debonair's Pursuit Single Cask Whisky 15 Year Old · 2007 Vintage
In stock
Distilled in 2007 and bottled in 2022, this 15-year-old Craigellachie was released by independent bottler Wemyss Malts as part of their single cask range. Matured in a hogshead, the cask yielded 320 bottles at 46% ABV. The name “The Debonair’s Pursuit” follows Wemyss Malts’ tradition of giving each single cask a title inspired by the whisky’s flavour profile.
Craigellachie Distillery, founded in 1890 in the heart of Speyside, is known for producing a robust and characterful spirit that stands apart from the region’s typically lighter style. Its whisky often carries a distinctive malty richness and slightly meaty depth, making it particularly well suited to long maturation in traditional oak casks.
