Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich amber-gold with a coppery sheen and sunlit honey undertones.
Nose
An intense, concentrated nose of vanilla and caramel, with crushed digestive biscuits and warm, buttery shortbread.
Palate
A warming dram with Craigellachie’s trademark heft, powered by strong virgin oak. Rich honey and sweet butterscotch mingle with molten Demerara sugar and almond pralines across the palate. A gentle spicy lift—nutmeg and pepper—emerges toward the back, finishing with a hint of marzipan.
Finish
Long, warming finish with honeyed vanilla and toffee that lingers, echoing molten Demerara sugar and almond pralines. Subtle oak sweetness remains, carried by wisps of nutmeg and pepper, fading to a delicate marzipan sweetness.
