Craigellachie is naturally sulphurous in style, a result of the low level of copper contact during distillation. Extended fermentation introduces bright fruit notes that balance the sulphur. This 14-year-old, aged in Fino sherry casks, delivers layered flavours of stone fruits, honey, and almonds.

(Craig-ELL-a-key) Craigellachie was built in 1890, with production beginning in 1891, and was designed by Charles Doig for a consortium led by Alexander Edward and Peter Mackie. From the start it was closely tied to the White Horse blend, and that link shaped much of the distillery’s early history. Long known locally as the White Horse Distillery, Craigellachie later became part of Bacardi in 1998 through John Dewar & Sons.
