Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with mahogany depth and warm bronze-gold highlights.
Nose
Sherried depth leads with dark plum, fig and raisin, velvet in the glass with toasted almond and cedar adding gravity. Cocoa and orange zest weave through a whisper of tobacco, while warm spice and polished leather provide a refined ballast. A high‑proof, luxurious bouquet that hints at decades in seasoned casks, inviting slow, contemplative sips.
Palate
Silky and full on the palate, it coats with a lush wave of dark fruits—prune, fig, cherry—alongside burnt sugar, toffee and cocoa. Sherry influence brings clove and cinnamon, orange zest and almond with a whisper of leather. Velvety mouthfeel, generous warmth, and a long, nutty, chocolatey finish rippling with oak spice.
Finish
Long, luxurious finish with rich dried fruit—fig, date and raisin—woven with dark chocolate, toffee, and toasted oak. Subtle orange peel and spice persist, slowly fading to a warm, velvety glow.
