Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep burnished amber with copper-gold highlights and a warm mahogany glow.
Nose
Opulent and sherried, the nose opens with ripe apple and pear, honeyed vanilla and toffee. Dried fig and raisin intertwine with candied orange peel, while cinnamon and nutmeg weave in gentle spice. Roasted almond and cocoa nib add depth, anchored by a warm oak backbone and a bright, resinous lift from the high ABV.
Palate
Silky and full-bodied, this sherry-driven palate coats the tongue with raisin, fig and dried plum, gilded by orange zest, cocoa and toasted almond. Warming spice—cinnamon and nutmeg—emerges as velvety caramel and espresso linger. The finish is long and nuanced, with leather and tobacco, kept vibrant by a hint of mineral edge.
Finish
Long, luxurious and warming, the finish unfolds with sherry-rich fruit, fig and raisin, and dark chocolate notes. Spiced warmth—cinnamon, orange zest, and nutmeg—lingers as toasted oak and a touch of leather fade slowly. Velvet and persistent, it leaves a refined, dessert-like echo that invites the next sip.
