Only 321 bottlings are available of this UK exclusive. After maturing in European Oak for thirteen years, the Whisky was finished in a first fill Palo Cortado Hogshead for five months. You get the classic peaty, coastal aromas you expect from an Islay Whisky, accompanied by dried herbs. The sherry influence is apparent on the palate with rich dark fruits and raisins. This is accompanied by briney notes with a hint of oak. The rich fruits linger on the finish, followed by heather honey, spiced bread and a hint of sea salt.
