Bright pale gold with a sun-warmed amber sheen.
Nose
Cured bacon and maple sweetness lift into red apple and a hint of fresh lemon; lemon-lime cordial notes mingle with pear and candied fruits, while a delicate heather aroma develops and combines with a subtle peat smoke.
Palate
Creamy and generously spicy, this Caol Ila ushers in ginger and orange zest with ripe banana, edged by a charred ash smoke. The mid-palate broadens to pineapple, burnt marshmallow and white chocolate with vanilla, while apple and ginger lift the finish, finishing long with a lingering, smoky warmth.
Finish
A long, spicy, smoky finish with peppery warmth that lightly coats the tongue, leaving a charcoal-dusted, lingering smoke afterglow.
