An initially gentle perfume of icing sugar and earth-smoked whispers, softly veiled by sea air. In the glass, coastal peat swells into muscular phenolics, releasing sea breeze, a touch of tar, and a persistent coastal smoke that signals Islay’s maritime signature.
Palate
On the palate, peat smoke returns in waves, backed by damp wool and a whisper of icing sugar, with slight floral notes. The peat thickens mid-palate, finishing with a coastal, resinous warmth that lingers.
Finish
Unmistakably coastal, fading slowly with notes of kippers, tar and lingering smoke.
