Tasting Notes
Colour
Bright golden honey with warm amber glints.
Nose
Initially gentle, the nose offers icing sugar sweetness and a hint of earthy smoke; with time in the glass, coastal peat asserts itself in a muscular, phenolic character.
Palate
On the palate, peat smoke lies at the fore, mingling with damp wool and icing sugar, with subtle floral notes and a further lift of peat smoke.
Finish
Coastal and persistent, the finish fades slowly, leaving lingering notes of kippers, tar and more smoke.
