In this unusual unpeated expression, the Malt Master captures a blissful interplay between rich nutty character and delicious orchard fruit. Shorter fermentation bears cloudy worts that make for a gloriously creamy, nutty mouth feel; while carefully partly-filling our pot stills enacts higher copper contact to bring forth fresh green apple flavours and spicy accents. Matured in refill, rejuvenated and ex-wine casks for 11 years.

Colour
Bright golden straw with a soft amber glow, a sunlit hue hinting at its ex-wine cask maturation.
Nose
Creamy, nutty nose layered with orchard fruit—bright green apples and hints of pear—alongside delicate almond and toasted-nut notes. Subtle spice threads through, amplified by a gentle wine-cask lift.
Palate
Silky, creamy on the palate with a nutty core and orchard fruit glow. Shorter fermentation gives a velvety mouthfeel, while copper contact draws bright green apple and subtle spice through. Ex-wine and refill casks lend a lingering, nutty-sweet finish with a peppery edge.
Finish
Long, creamy finish of nutty warmth and orchard fruit, with persistent green apple and a trace of spice. Rejuvenated ex-wine casks leave a polished oak echo that fades to a crisp, elegant dryness.
