Opens roundly sweet, and full of bourbon, coffee, plus later citrus and cereal. More (Arabica) coffee on the palate ahead of liquorice and slightly burnt vanilla toffee. The coffee finish now carries cream and sugar, ahead of the Whisky.

Roundly sweet on the nose, with bourbon-rich warmth and pronounced coffee aromatics, followed by subtle citrus zest and cereal hints.

Palate

Opens roundly sweet, with bourbon and Arabica coffee at the core, and hints of citrus and cereal. The palate deepens into liquorice with a touch of burnt vanilla toffee, then a coffee finish carrying cream and sugar, leaving a soft, lingering warmth that whispers of the whisky's refined maturity.

Finish

An enduring, coffee-forward finish with Arabica espresso notes lingering against a background of liquorice and burnt vanilla toffee. The sweetness rounds into cream and sugar, leaving a warm, velvety echo of bourbon beyond the last sip.

Cambus (silent)
(CAM-bus) Cambus was founded in 1806 by John Moubray at a former mill near Alloa, and began life as a malt distillery before shifting decisively into grain whisky in 1836 with the installation of Stein patent stills. Under the Moubray family it grew quickly, with a Coffey still added in 1851 and the site expanding into one of the largest grain distilleries in Scotland. In 1877, Cambus became one of the founding companies of Distillers Company Limited.
