Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with a coppery glow and a touch of mahogany.
Nose
Opulent and refined, the nose unfurls with creamy vanilla and honeyed cereals, layered with toffee and caramel. Dried apricots and sultanas rise, brightened by orange zest, while almond paste and waxy oak add depth. A delicate sherry glow weaves through, with subtle spice and a maritime, old-library warmth.
Palate
Silky, full-bodied palate with creamy vanilla and toffee, resting on orchard fruit and mellow honey. Rich sherry influence yields dried fig, raisin and cocoa, balanced by polished oak and gentle spice. Velvet mouthfeel, with a long, warming finish of almond, caramel and a whisper of orange zest.
Finish
An exceptionally long, velvety finish that unfolds with honeyed vanilla and rich toffee, supported by a refined oak spine. Subtle sherry-influenced dried fruit, almond and gentle spice linger, slowly fading into a warm, contemplative glow.
