Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with burnished copper edges and a warm, honeyed glow.
Nose
Polished oak and waxy vanilla rise on the nose, giving way to dried apricot and toffee with toasted almond and a bright note of orange zest. Subtle spice—cinnamon and white pepper—wafts through, while a whisper of sherry depth lends warmth and a refined, nutty finish.
Palate
Luxuriously full-bodied and silky, this single grain coats the palate with an oily, velvety texture. Sherry-driven sweetness delivers fig, raisin and date alongside dark toffee, vanilla and almond. Cinnamon, clove and ginger spice lift the mid-palate, while subtle oak lends structure. The finish is long and warm, cocoa-kissed with orange zest lingering.
Finish
Long, silky and warming, the finish carries toffee and vanilla into toasted oak, honeyed citrus and subtle spice, lingering with a softly creamy warmth.
