In stock
This limited single grain from Invergordon was finished in a single Palo Cortado sherry octave cask. Enriched by the octave’s smaller size and the distinctive influence of Palo Cortado wood, the result is a complex, full-bodied whisky with layers of sweet spice, nutty depth, and subtle sherry warmth.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep, sunlit amber with copper-gold highlights and mahogany undertones, a warm, sherry-kissed glow.
Nose
Toasted almond and marzipan meet walnut and dried fig, with a kiss of raisin. Orange zest, vanilla and caramel drift through warm spices—cinnamon, clove and nutmeg. The Palo Cortado finish adds sherry depth—nutty, gently oxidative, with cocoa and polished oak.
Palate
Silky, full-bodied on the palate, creamy vanilla and toffee underpin a cascade of dried fruit—raisin, fig, apricot—while almond and hazelnut add nutty depth. Sweet spice—cinnamon, clove, nutmeg—meets subtle Palo Cortado warmth, with hints of orange zest and cocoa. The finish is long, elegant, and softly drying, with a lingering toast and refined oak.
Finish
Long, elegant finish with sweet spice, toasted almond and walnut, touched by soft sherry warmth. The Palo Cortado octave cask leaves a silky, nutty sweetness and dried-fruit depth that lingers, wrapping the palate in refined, velvety warmth.
