Tasting Notes
Colour
Bright golden amber with a warm honey glow and a subtle coppery sheen.
Nose
Sherried richness unfurls on the nose: dried fig and raisin, orange zest and plum, draped in toffee, vanilla, and dark chocolate. A maritime whisper of salt air and polished oak, with warm spice—cinnamon and clove—lifted by the whisky’s 58.8% ABV.
Palate
Silky, sherry-kissed palate with dark fig, raisin and plum fruit, woven with caramelized orange, vanilla and almond toffee. Subtle cacao and baking spice unfold beside a gentle maritime breeze, while a warm 58.8% ABV brings a peppery bite that lingers into a long, refined finish.
Finish
Long, velvet finish infused by sherry sweetness: dried fig and raisin, dark chocolate, toasted almond, and a lift of orange zest. Warming spice trails through the palate, with a faint coastal salt and rich oak fading to a dignified, lingering echo.
