A Bunnahabhain single malt bottled by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society as cask number 10.168, this 13 year old was distilled in 2005 and bottled in 2019 for Feis Ile after maturation in a bourbon cask. Bottled at cask strength of 61.8% ABV, the release was limited to 205 bottles.
Bourbon cask maturation brings vanilla sweetness, light spice and gentle oak, complementing Bunnahabhain’s naturally coastal, malt-driven character. The higher strength gives a concentrated texture while retaining the distillery’s clean, maritime style.
