Tasting Notes
Colour
Honeyed amber with coppery glow and a deep mahogany edge.
Nose
Opulent sherry aroma with dark fruit—prune, fig and raisin—woven with cocoa, orange zest and toasted almond. Gentle spice rises—cinnamon, clove, nutmeg—over polished oak with a hint of leather. A warm, inviting nose that hints at cask-strength depth.
Palate
Silky and generous on the palate, this Bladnoch unfurls dark raisin and fig sweetness with cocoa, vanilla and a touch of salted caramel. Sherry influence threads through with toffee, almond and spice—cinnamon and clove—while a bright citrus zest keeps it lifted. Rich, oiled texture coats the mouth, and the high ABV delivers a long, warming finish with subtle oak.
Finish
Long, velvety finish lingers with rich dried fruit, fig and date, touched by cocoa and orange zest. Sherry-cask sweetness weaves with warm spice—cinnamon and clove—while soft oak closes the tail, fading to a refined, lingering glow.
