Tasting Notes
Colour
A deep, sunlit amber with copper-gold highlights and a whisper of mahogany.
Nose
A majestic bouquet of aged oak, vanilla and toasted almond unfurls into dark fruit notes of plum, fig and prune, with hints of cocoa and leather. A whisper of tobacco and spice—cinnamon and clove—lifts the aroma, revealing a poised, tannic backbone beneath radiant, high-octane sweetness.
Palate
Opulent and powerfully structured on the palate. Dense dark fruit, espresso and molasses are braided with regal oak from refill American and European casks. Prominent, finely integrated tannins frame spice—cinnamon and clove—while a warming, lingering finish unveils cacao and toasted almond. A stately, long-lived dram with impressive presence.
Finish
An expansive, lingering finish that unfolds slowly with chocolate-toned oak, dried fruit, and orange zest. Rich, refined tannins persist, drying the palate into a warm spice crescendo, leaving a whisper of espresso, cocoa and caramel on a polished, well-fused oak frame.
