Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with coppery highlights and a subtle ruby glow, a warm, sunlit hue.
Nose
Opulent sherry notes cloak ripe cherry and fig with raisin, while cocoa, toffee and orange zest weave through. Cinnamon and clove spice the midnose, balanced by vanilla oak and a whisper of espresso. A warm, luxurious bouquet promising bold, chaptered richness to come.
Palate
Silky and full-bodied, it coats the palate with dark fruit compote—raisin, fig, cherry—woven with rich toffee and burnt sugar. Sherry influence delivers cacao, orange zest, and spice (clove, cinnamon) with velvety oak. The finish is long and warming, a treacly sweetness tempered by peppery warmth.
Finish
An exquisitely long finish that coats the palate with sherried richness. Dried cherry, fig and cocoa melt into toasted oak, espresso and a touch of leather, with lingering spice and a warm, velvet fade.
