Armorik Sherry Cask is aged exclusively in Oloroso sherry casks. These casks are characterised by the notes of spice and candied fruit, enhancing the traditional fruitiness of Armorik. This full, luxuriant Whisky brings together the richness of the Breton and Spanish terroirs.

Tasting Notes

Colour

Deep amber with copper-gold highlights and mahogany undertones, a luxuriant, sun-warmed hue that speaks of Oloroso sherry influence.

Nose

Elegant and rich, the nose is influenced by Oloroso sherry, unfolding vanilla sweetness with lemon notes and a touch of mint—a warm, inviting bouquet hinting at depth.

Palate

Nicely balanced and rounded, with caramel sweets and sherry harmoniously entwined for a luscious, smooth palate.

Finish

A warming finish with a delicate peppery lift, where caramel sweetness and sherry spice linger, slowly fading into a velvety, comforting glow.

Armorik
Armorik is produced by Distillerie Warenghem in Lannion, Brittany, founded in 1900 by Léon Warenghem. The distillery first built its reputation on liqueurs and regional spirits before moving into whisky under Gilles Leizour, filling its first whisky casks in 1983 and launching WB Breton blended whisky in 1987. A dedicated whisky distillery followed in 1993, with Armorik Single Malt officially launched in 1998 as the first single malt from Brittany and France.
