A heavily peated Ardmore single cask bottled by The Cooper's Choice. Ardmore is a great alternative for those who are fans of Islay whiskies.
A lovely balance of peat, fruit and peppery spice here from a lesser known distillery and not at all like the standard distillery bottle. A very inviting and refreshing Ledaig esque small batch offering from one of our favourite Indie bottlers.

Colour
Sunlit amber-gold with coppery-bronze hues and a warm mahogany glow.
Nose
Coastal sea air and briny citrus lift a soapy, creamy peat smoke, with hints of smoked vanilla. Floral and grassy notes intertwine with herbal shampoo and a dash of mint.
Palate
Fresh and oily on the palate, menthol and green herbs lift lime salt-water notes, while wisps of smoky white ash mingle with vanilla and green pear. Creamy smoke of cheese and a touch of charred hay or singed barley lend a lasting, savory edge.
Finish
Sooty smoked apples and pears linger with a salty lime cheesecake note, while fresh coastal hints and a final brush of herbal olive oil and brine ripple on the palate.
