Tasting Notes
Colour
Natural golden amber with sunlit honey tones and coppery glints.
Nose
Islay straight ahead—seaweedy beaches and the distant hum of a CalMac ferry engine room, a maritime, briny aroma.
Palate
Bold, mouth-puckering peat with burning incense riding the palate. Sooty ash and persistent smoke cling to the tongue, a powerful Islay signature that coats and lingers.
Finish
Oily rags mingle with charcoal and burnt logs as the finish lingers, touched by caramelised sugar and a hint of warm spices.
