Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep golden amber with sunlit honey hues.
Nose
Earthy, smoky perfume layers with sea spray, tar and creosote, espresso notes and toffee. Vanilla threads and a pulse of lime brighten the aroma, while subtle peppery spice lingers. A drop of water releases fennel and bonfire embers for a classic Ardbeg lift.
Palate
Mouth-filling and spicy, it opens with an immediate sweetness of smoked cinnamon and paprika. Waves of smoke—soot, tar, creosote, peat moss and woodsmoke—follow, yet a gentle malty, biscuity core keeps the finish balanced.
Finish
A mentholic, cooling finish lingers, with traces of eucalyptus and antiseptic lozenges, softly fading into a gentle echo of smoke and spice.
