Tasting Notes
Colour
Dark, sun-warmed amber with burnished copper edges and honey-gold highlights.
Nose
Distinctively oily, with olive oil sheen, sweet briar wood and aromatic herbs—coriander and sage—alongside a hint of smoked lemon peel. A splash of water deepens the oiliness to linseed-like wax, unveiling perfumed soap notes and a final whisper of crème brûlée.
Palate
Soft, oily mouthfeel coats the palate, revealing a rich, sweet smoke with treacle and oak moss. Aniseed lozenges mingle with woody, balsamic notes, then unfold into smoked apricots and eucalyptus oil, finishing with a long, harmonious balance of sweetness and smoke.
Finish
A lingering, sweet-smoky finish coats the palate, with cumin and cardamom notes and the merest whisper of coconut.
