Only 5% of Annandale’s 2015 production is maturing in Sherry wood. Sourced directly from José y Miguel Martín SA, Spain, these are very rare authentic sherry butts. Each bottle of this Single Cask, Single Malt is individually marked with cask and bottle number.
A good balance between peat smoke and fruit flavours. A leather and smoky note slowly gives way to sweet cooked fruits of apple and pear with burnt orange. A creamy vanilla note with toffee and honey develops, with lemon and orange peel. More fruit develops with peat smoke highlights and the long creamy finish.

Colour
Warm amber-gold with coppery mahogany undertones, a burnished, sunlit glow.
Nose
Peat smoke and leather form a rugged aromatic base, opening to sweet cooked apple and pear with hints of burnt orange. Creamy vanilla threads through toffee and honey, while lemon and orange peel brighten the citrus. The aroma deepens with additional fruit and peat, a warm, smoky glow that lingers.
Palate
On the palate, a refined balance of peat smoke and rich fruit. Leather and char give way to cooked apple and pear, with hints of burnt orange. Creamy vanilla, toffee and honey unfold, brightened by lemon and orange peel. More orchard fruit returns beneath lilting peat, leading to a long, creamy finish.
Finish
Long and creamy, the finish lingers with gentle peat smoke and a wave of vanilla, toffee and honey. Fruit notes persist—apple, pear and orange—before a warm citrus glow fades to a softly smoky, refined finale.
