A brand new Single cask release, exclusively for the UK, from Tomatin. This 2006 vintage whisky was matured in ex - Bourbon barrels before an 8 year (!) finishing period in French oak. Bottled at 46%, as a 12 year old single malt, this is one of only 721 bottles.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich copper-gold with sunlit amber depths and a warm honey glow, evoking burnished oak.
Nose
Initial bonfire toffee gives way to baked apple pie and aromatic spices - nutmeg and clove. Savoury granola emerges with notes of chocolate, walnut and banana.
Palate
Rich, malty palate with Christmas pudding and shortbread influence. Caramel, plum jam and marzipan weave a delicate sweetness that lingers with a warm, refined finish.
Finish
A long, dry finish that lingers with coffee notes and spice, drying the palate and leaving a warm, refined impression.
