Colour

Deep amber with coppery highlights and mahogany edges.

Nose

Opulent and syrupy, the nose unfolds with maple sweetness, candied walnuts, prunes and rum-soaked sultanas. A PX-inflected bitterness surfaces—dark chocolate, treacle, espresso and a whisper of leather. With time, dried apricot and raisins emerge, touched by cinnamon, wrapping the aroma in a warm, spice-kissed allure.

Palate

Luxurious, almost chewy mouthfeel, with sweetness unfurling into cherry and plum liqueurs, then golden syrup and Jamaican ginger cake. Bitter nuances from the nose lightly reappear, always wrapped in a sweet guise, leaving a balanced, lingering finish of fruit, spice and pastry.

Finish

An enduring, bold finish where dark sweetness lingers at the fore, tempered by bitter notes of chocolate and espresso and seasoned with warming spice. The richness coats the palate long after the last sip, leaving a syrupy, resinous warmth.
