Tasting Notes
Colour
Natural golden amber with honeyed warmth and coppery highlights.
Nose
Packed with spicy Christmas cake, liquorice and toffee, this nose leads with creamy vanilla and ground spices. Honeyed citrus brightens the aroma, while richer sherried fruit and warming spice from the American and Spanish oak casks weave through.
Palate
Honeyed and fruit-forward at first, with orange and dried fruits giving way to spice and toasted oak. A chocolatey mid-palate emerges, followed by savoury, leathery notes that linger with a warm, velvet finish.
Finish
Sweet, long and warming with plenty of clove, anise and peppery spice courtesy of the European oak casks.
