A gloriously balanced whisky. Sherry & Bourbon cask aged for 24 years, this has beautiful depth, with a honeyed roundness added to by some supple and dark fruited Sherry notes. If you like your Macallan, Glenfarclas or Glendronach this is one for you to try, highly recommended.

Nose

Densely sweet and spicy with a cosy embrace of Christmas cake. Rich yet crisp with notes of vanilla, set toffee and lemon juice.

Palate

Spiciness continues with hints of candied orange slices, warm honey and worn lerather filling the mouth with a syphony of maturuity.

Finish

Lush and moreish with chestnut puree, caramelised orange, juicy sherry soaked dried fruit, cherry nougart, red jam on toasted raisin bagels, orange muscat wine.

(a-NOCK) Built in 1893, anCnoc is situated on the eastern flank of Speyside, near to Keith. The distillery ran until 1983; like many other distilleries at the time, it was closed as a result of the "Whisky Loch". Inver House bought and reopened the distillery in 1988.
