Tasting Notes

Nose

Top notes of lemon curd, green apples and cut flowers give way to honey sweetness, creamy toffee, leather and spices, with a touch of warming wood smoke shaping a fragrant, rich nose.

Palate

Oily and full-bodied, honey and fresh vanilla sit firmly on the palate, with spiciness, and, once again slight smokiness woven in.  The finish is long and rewarding with hints of ground spices and caramel sweetness.

(a-NOCK) Built in 1893, anCnoc is situated on the eastern flank of Speyside, near to Keith. The distillery ran until 1983; like many other distilleries at the time, it was closed as a result of the "Whisky Loch". Inver House bought and reopened the distillery in 1988.
