"Noticeably heavier than the 10 year old, this is well balanced, with cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla. Apple and toffee are also present, along with oak and malt. Further examination produces a hint of mint. The Finish is drier than the 10 year old and fades softly"

(aber-LOW-er) Right in the centre of Aberlour village next to the banks of the Lour Burn the Aberlour distillery sits. In Gaelic Aberlour means “Mouth of the chattering burn”. Sadly in 1898 most of the Aberlour distillery was destroyed by a fire, however this led to the distillery being rebuilt and improvements made in the 1920s, after the second World War, the 1960s and also during the 1970s.
