This lightly peated whisky is made from malted barley infused with smoke during the drying process. It’s a reflection of history – the original 19th Century distillery was largely fired by peat. Gentle distillation is followed by maturation in our purpose-built warehouses. The result is a beautifully smooth and rounded whisky.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Pale gold with sunlit honey highlights, a bright straw-gold glow that glimmers in the glass and deepens to a warm amber at the rim.
Nose
Initially smoky, the nose mingles fruit and a fresh sea breeze with gentle vanilla and oak wood-shavings.
Palate
Floral notes abound, followed by raisins and light spices. Malty flavours open up on the palate, with soft honey sweetness at the finish.
Finish
Soft peaty tones cushion a long, velvety finish, leaving a smooth warmth with a gentle honeyed sweetness that lingers.
