Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep warm amber with coppery mahogany edges and honey-gold glints; a sunset-bronze colour that glows rich in the glass.
Nose
Opulent sherried bouquet with dried fig, prune and plum, and a lift of orange zest. Velvet vanilla, toffee and almond weave through cocoa and spice—nutmeg and cinnamon—over toasted oak. A hint of tobacco and leather adds mature depth, while a whisper of espresso lingers, yielding a warm, sophisticated nose.
Palate
Silky and opulent on the palate, this Rare Reserve unfolds a core of fig, date, and orange zest, layered with toffee, almond, and dark chocolate. Sherry-influenced oak lends walnut spice and a whisper of tobacco, while velvet viscosity coats the tongue. The finish is long and refined, with caramel, espresso, and evolving spice lingering in a warm, sophisticated glow.
Finish
Velvety and long, the finish unfolds with dried fig and raisin sweetness, then drifts into dark chocolate, espresso and walnut. Sherry echoes linger as toffee and orange zest mingle with refined oak. Cinnamon and clove spice the fading warmth, while subtle leather and tobacco notes ease away, leaving a polished, enduring glow.
