A Craft Distillery, focused on authenticity and built on the foundations of family heritage. Founded in 2017 by a family of distillers, launching with Gin, Rum and Vodka and offering premium bespoke spirits; all in the pursuit of, one day, being able to produce their own Single Malt Whisky, and here it is.
The inaugural releases from West Midlands Distillery - four single casks, representing the four family members of the Distillery.
The Matriarch
This rich, fruity and pleasantly sweet dram is bottled at 51.9% ABV
Oloroso Quarter Cask
Fully matured in a fresh Oloroso Sherry Quarter cask, this is a rich and fruity single malt bottled at 53.9% ABV.
Caribbean Rum Cask
Matured in a Plantation Caribbean Rum cask, this is a sweet and fruity single malt whisky bottled at 53.2% ABV
Bourbon Quarter Cask
Re-coopered from a first fill Bourbon to a Bourbon Quarter Cask. Matured in a Bourbon quarter cask, this is a deep and subtle smokey dram bottled at 53.8% ABV
First Fill Bourbon Cask
Matured in a First-fill ex Buffalo Trace cask, this is a creamy and full bodied single malt bottled at 52.1% ABV.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with coppery highlights and a touch of mahogany, radiating a warm, luxurious glow.
Nose
Sweet caramel and vanilla lift with warming spice; dried fruits mingle with tropical fruit brightness, while a subtle wisp of smoke threads through.
Palate
Caramel and vanilla from the Bourbon casks weave with dried fruit and spice from the Oloroso, balanced by sweetness and tropical fruit notes from the Rum cask, finishing with a subtle, smoky warmth.
Finish
Long and luxurious, the finish unfolds with a warm wave of vanilla and caramel from the Bourbon casks, layered with dusky dried fruit and spice from the Oloroso, a tropical sweetness from the Caribbean Rum, and a whisper of smoke that lingers, finishing with a soft, syrupy sweetness that coats the palate.
