Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery highlights and a honey-gold glow.
Nose
Sweet caramel and spice lead the nose, with dried fruit lending depth, flashes of tropical fruit adding brightness, and a whisper of smoke weaving through the scent.
Palate
Caramel and vanilla from bourbon casks lead the palate, followed by dried fruit and spice from the oloroso, tempered by gentle sweetness and tropical notes from the rum cask, with a whisper of smoke.
Finish
Long and luxurious, the finish pours forth caramel and vanilla, with persistent dried-fruit spice, a soft wisp of smoke, and a tropical echo that slowly fades into warm, comforting resilience.
