Colour

Nose

An inviting, fruit-forward nose: vanilla-burnished oak from ex-bourbon mingles with Madeira’s rich, raisiny sweetness; dried fig and apricot, orange zest, honeyed malt, almond and a whisper of spice. Warm, creamy, and enticing.

Palate

Opulent and full-bodied, this opens with creamy vanilla and toffee from the ex-bourbon cask, entwined with madeira-enhanced dried fruit and fig. Rich cocoa, orange zest and subtle spice ride a velvety oak spine, while a peppery warmth from the 51.5% ABV lingers. The finish is long and elegant, with praline sweetness, dried fruit remnant and polished, clove-kissed wood.

Finish

Opulent and long, the finish coats the palate in warm Madeira-inflected sweetness—rich apricot, fig and raisin mingle with caramel and dark chocolate, carried on resinous oak. A spicy thread of orange zest, clove and cinnamon lingers as the fruit softens, fading to a smooth, toasted-wood echo.
