Tasting Notes

Colour

Golden.

Nose

Vanilla fudge leads to lemon and lime zest with a hint of marshmallow. Notes of malted biscuit develop alongside hazel nut and exotic fruit.

Palate

Candied peel flavours intertwines with pineapple and white chocolate. Dried banana comes to the fore accompanied by Elderflower and is balanced by black pepper.

Finish

Medium-bodied with sweet brown sugar and toasted oak.

Tormore
(TOR-mor) Tormore was built for Long John Distillers between 1958 and 1960 near Grantown-on-Spey, becoming one of Scotland’s first new malt whisky distilleries of the 20th century. Designed by Sir Albert Richardson with Alexander Cullen, the granite and copper-roofed site is one of Speyside’s most distinctive distillery buildings and was granted listed status in 1986.
