Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich amber-gold with coppery sheen and mahogany undertones.
Nose
Richly malty on the nose, lifted by caramel and toasted barley. Sherry-influenced breadth brings dark fruit—raisin and fig—plus candied orange and cocoa nibs. Vanilla, gentle spice, and a touch of oak weave a polished, inviting aroma that hints at cask strength and refined maturity.
Palate
Bold cask-strength Tormore coats the palate with thick, malt-forward sweetness and substantial barley. Sherry cask influence delivers dried fruit, fig and toffee, lightly spiced by vanilla and cinnamon. A warming, peppery bite supports a long, oak-tinged finish with hints of dark chocolate and leather.
Finish
Long, opulent finish of dried fig and cocoa, braided with warming spice and toasted oak. Sherry sweetness lingers, while a creamy barley edge softens, fading to a warm peppery glow.
