The new Tobermory 12 Year Old was released to coincide with the re-opening of the distillery and vistor centre in 2019. This expression has been matured in American oak casks for 12 years before being bottled at 46.3% ABV. Sweet and delicate with flavours of honey, vanilla, tropical fruit, citrus, spice, and sea spray.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Golden honey with warm amber highlights.
Nose
Sweet and fruity nose with honey, apple blossom and honeysuckle, bright citrus from orange, and creamy pineapple with vanilla. Dense, with a subtle herbaceous lift.
Palate
Lighter, with lively freshness on the palate: bright citrus, apple and mango, and a grassy note. A honeyed sweetness persists, evolving into creamy butter-toffee and orange, with a gentle spice that threads through to the finish.
Finish
Ripe citrus lingers, followed by warming woody spice and a progressively dry, oak-driven finish.
