The new Tobermory 12 Year Old was released to coincide with the re-opening of the distillery and vistor centre in 2019. This expression has been matured in American oak casks for 12 years before being bottled at 46.3% ABV. Sweet and delicate with flavours of honey, vanilla, tropical fruit, citrus, spice, and sea spray.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Golden amber with a warm, honeyed glow.
Nose
Sweet and fruity on the nose, with honey, apple blossom, honeysuckle, and zesty orange blending with creamy pineapple and vanilla. Dense and inviting, with a subtle herbaceous lift.
Palate
Light on the palate with a bright, fresh lift; crisp citrus and juicy apple mingle with tropical mango, while a cut-grass note keeps it buoyant. A touch of honeyed sweetness remains, leading to creamy butter-toffee and orange.
Finish
Ripe citrus lingers, followed by warming woody spice and an increasingly dry oak that coats the palate with a refined, maritime finish.
